Le jeu vous plonge au coeur de l'univers coloré des yoshis, gentils habitants héroiques et multicolores d'une île perdue au milieu de nulle part. Ceux-ci recoivent un étrange paquet, qu'une cigogne a laissé tomber, à savoir le personage emblématique de Nintendo, rajeuni de quelques années, bébé Mario. Les yoshis entreprennent d'effectuer un relais au coeur des différents mondes de l'île, tous peuplés d'ennemis déjà rencontrés dans l'univers Nintendo, pour emmener bébé Mario a bon port.

Looking to create a fuss in the kingdom, a meddling magikoopa, Kamek, intercepted a stork carrying the Mushroom Kingdom’s newest set of twins. During the heist, Kamek successfully kidnapped one twin; but the other twin accidentally slipped from the stork’s bundle and fell to the ground. With miraculous fortune, the second twin landed safely on Yoshi’s back! Now, the normally docile Yoshis must take on the trouble-making Kamek and his entire cast of underlings to reunite the twins!
