Bard's Tale IV: Barrows Deep brings players back to the fantastical world of Caith on the 30th anniversary of The Bard's Tale III: Thief of Fate for a classic party-based, first-person role-playing adventure. Developed by inXile and original The Bard's Tale team member Brian Fargo, The Bard's Tale IV: Barrows Deep returns to the series' roots. When it premiered in 1985, the legendary Bard's Tale series was an instant success, instrumental in defining the computer role-playing genre. It was inducted as a member of the Computer Gaming World Hall of Fame and featured in the Smithsonian's "The Art of Video Games" exhibit.
